Reservoir Characterization:
An accurate, geological model of the reservoir structure and stratigraphy is starting point to identify and recover hydrocarbons economically and efficiently. Geophysics, petrophysics, geology, petroleum engineering are some of the disciplines provide data about reservoir.
Our critical capability is to integrate all data from different discipline, different scale and different precision. Since, the overall objective is to capture reservoir characteristics, extensive data analysis effort is given to each reservoir study.
Geosciences Services:
Integrated study starts with data gathering and QC. It is important to understand data before modeling. This step includes data transformations, depth match, trend investigation, distribution (stationarity) analysis, statistical (univariate/bivariate) data analysis and report generation.
Well Correlation:
Correlation study consists of organizing markers consistently honoring log curves, core data, seismic structure and lateral stratigraphic continuity. click here
Facies/RRT Modeling:
Soft geological information is fully implemented into model by estimating facies distributions using a variety of pixel and object based stochastic and deterministic methods. click here
Fault Modeling:
Seismic fault interpretation is fully incorporated into 3D model by considering fault throw, fault geometry and grid interaction with faults. click here
Fracture Modeling:
Significant effect of fractures on oil/gas flow mechanism within reservoir is captured in this study. Various source of information including drilling, core data, geological interpretations, seismic data, petrophysical informations, RFT, MDT, DST and PT are employed to generate accurate dynamic characteristics of the reservoir by considering fracture effect. click here
Well Design:
Wells are designed quickly and reports are provided including 3D plots, well tracks in seismic data interaction, and reservoir properties at planned well location, some drilling parameters and maps showing lateral features close to new well location.click here
Petrophysical Modeling:
3D petrophysical properties are generated at this step of the study using different algorithms including 1D, 2D, 3D trends constraining to seismic data and facies models. click here
Advanced Grid Generation and Upscaling:
Grid sizes and shapes are important for dynamic simulation, drive mechanism and ranking. For different purpose fine-scale, course scale models or various size of grid models are generated and properties are upscaled or downscaled.
Ranking and Screening of Reservoir Models by Streamline Simulation:
Different geostatistical realizations can be ranked rapidly by using streamline simulator in terms of sweep efficiency as a quantitative indicator of connectivity. We use streamline simulation results to determine optimum upscaling scheme representing dynamic characteristics of reservoir.
Uncertainty Mitigation:
In our modeling effort, we consider all equi-probable alternatives to generate high and low cases of the models as well as base case. Identification and quantification of uncertainty on each and every parameter is investigated to determine their impact on volumetric and dynamic properties of reservoir.
